Followup Destinations

A followup destination is the next step after a customer finishes a Review Flow or Custom Form. It can continue a Journey, open another business destination, or end with an on-page completion message.

Configure the destination under Completion for a Review Flow or After Submission for a Custom Form.

A followup is one possible Journey Connection. Rich Editor Customer destinations and Simple Page Link Lists can create other branches before completion.

Open a branded page built in FSRevs. This works well for thank-you content, instructions, offers, or resources that should stay under your branding.

Continue through a reusable Smart Link. Use this to open another Review Flow or Custom Form, or when the next destination may need to change without editing the current builder.

A Smart Link with several active destinations uses its normal round-robin rotation for new visitors. Once the next Review Record or Form Response opens, that result remains pinned to the chosen destination.

Open one of the review, social, or custom website links managed in your workspace.

When opened from an existing Journey, the My Link is recorded as an exit. The same link opened independently remains ordinary link analytics and does not create a Journey by itself.

End with the builder’s simple completion or thank-you message instead of leaving the current experience.

  1. Open Flow Builders and select the Flow.
  2. Select Build & Configure > Completion.
  3. Choose the completion behavior and destination.
  4. Review the completion wording.
  5. Use Preview Current Settings.
  6. Save and test through the same request or Smart Link customers will use.
  1. Open Form Builders and select the Form.
  2. Select Build & Configure > After Submission.
  3. Choose Simple Page, Smart Link, My Link, or no next step.
  4. Review the simple completion message.
  5. Preview the Completion stage.
  6. Save and submit a test response.

If an older selected target is no longer available, FSRevs preserves it during unrelated edits. Clear or replace it deliberately before distributing the updated experience.

A Journey normally carries forward known customer and location context. An explicit Smart Link configuration can intentionally provide different location, employee, or sender context, and that explicit setting takes priority when supported by the next destination.

If inherited context is no longer valid, the next destination falls back to its normal location behavior. Test global builders, cross-location destinations, and saved Smart Link configurations carefully.

After saving, use Connections on the resource’s view page to review possible incoming and outgoing paths. Actual customer behavior appears on Review Record and Form Response Journeys.

  • Use a simple completion message for the shortest possible finish.
  • Use a Simple Page when you need formatted branded content.
  • Use My Link for a fixed website, review, booking, or social destination.
  • Use a Smart Link when the next step is another FSRevs experience, needs reusable attribution, or may need routing changes later.
