Creating Your Account
What This Helps You Do
Section titled “What This Helps You Do”Create your FSRevs account, set up your first location, and launch your workspace — ready to start collecting customer reviews and feedback.
Before You Start
Section titled “Before You Start”You’ll need:
- A direct phone number (US or Canada)
- An email address for your admin account
- A password you’ll remember
If your business has a Google Business listing, have the phone number listed on that profile ready — FSRevs uses the phone number to find your listing and can pull in most of your business details automatically.
Step by Step
Section titled “Step by Step”Step 1: Secure Your Workspace
Section titled “Step 1: Secure Your Workspace”Start by entering your basic details. This creates your private login and reserves your unique business URL.
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Name | Your full name (first and last) |
| Title | Your role at the business (optional, e.g., “Owner” or “Manager”). We use this to personalize messages so your customers know they’re hearing from a real person |
| Phone | Your direct phone number — US or Canadian numbers only. This is for contacting you personally, not displayed publicly for your business |
| Your personal email. This becomes your sign-in email. You’ll confirm it by entering it twice | |
| Password | Minimum 8 characters. You’ll confirm it by entering it twice |
| Workspace ID | 4–32 characters, lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes only. This becomes part of your unique FSRevs address (e.g., your-workspace.fsrevs.com) and is visible in every link you, your team, and your customers see |
Step 2: Let Google Do the Work
Section titled “Step 2: Let Google Do the Work”Instead of typing in all your business details by hand, enter the phone number from your Google Business Profile and let FSRevs find your listing.
- Enter the phone number from your Google Business listing
- We’ll show you the listings we found — click the Click to test link if you want to be 100% sure it’s the right one
- Click Select and we’ll automatically grab your company name, address, website, and Google review link
If your business isn’t on Google (or you’d rather skip this step), you can enter all the details manually — no problem.
| Field | Required? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Company Name | Yes | Your business name as customers know it |
| Phone | No | Main business phone number — the contact number for your business, separate from your personal phone |
| Website | No | Your business website |
| Address | No | Street address |
| City | Yes | City where your business is located or primarily serves |
| State / Province | Yes | State or province |
| ZIP / Postal Code | No | ZIP (US) or Postal Code (Canada) |
| Timezone | Yes | Auto-detected, but you can change it |
Step 3: Final Touches & Launch
Section titled “Step 3: Final Touches & Launch”Confirm your location details and let us know how you found us.
Once you hit Submit, our system goes to work — building your database, setting up your domain, and securing your workspace.
What Happens After You Submit
Section titled “What Happens After You Submit”Your screen will change to a Setup in Progress page. Behind the scenes, we’re provisioning your dedicated server and database.
The 3–5 minute window: It takes about 3 to 5 minutes to get everything warmed up and ready for you.
Check your destination: Verify the email address shown on the setup screen. That’s exactly where your access link is headed.
Don’t just wait — get ahead: While our system finishes your setup, click the button to Schedule your Free Onboarding. By the time you pick a time, your welcome email will likely be sitting in your inbox.
Stuck? Quick Fixes
Section titled “Stuck? Quick Fixes”“I can’t find my Google listing” Double-check that you’re using the exact phone number listed on Google Maps. If it still doesn’t show up, don’t worry — enter your details manually and we can link your Google listing later.
“My Workspace ID says it’s taken”
Like a custom email address, Workspace IDs must be unique. Try adding your city (e.g., acme-maui) or a shorter version of your name.
“I didn’t get the welcome email” Give it a full 5 minutes. If it’s still not there, check your Promotions or Spam folder. The email comes from FSRevs and contains your link to log in.
