Quick Actions & Launch
What This Helps You Do
Section titled “What This Helps You Do”Quick Actions is the fastest way to begin a review request, send a custom form, or find a customer. It guides you through only the choices your account and role require.
You can open it in two ways:
- Select Launch in the top navigation to open Quick Actions without leaving your current page.
- Select Quick Actions in the portal sidebar for the full-page version.
Both versions use the same actions and respect your current location and sending access.
The choices are built from the locations, Review Flows, and Custom Forms you can use together. A Flow or Form can be visible elsewhere in the portal but absent here when it cannot accept new responses or you cannot send it in any available location context.
What You May See
Section titled “What You May See”Quick Actions can include:
- Send Review Request — Choose a review flow and location, then prepare the request.
- Send Custom Form — Choose a form and, when needed, a location.
- Customers — Find an existing customer or add a customer when your role allows it.
Only actions available to you appear. For example, a team member who can send review requests but cannot send custom forms will only see the review option.
Start a New Request
Section titled “Start a New Request”- Select Launch or open Quick Actions from the sidebar.
- Choose Send Review Request or Send Custom Form.
- On Step 1: Confirm sending location, choose a location when more than one context is available.
- Choose the Review Flow or Custom Form on the next step when more than one is available.
- Complete the request setup and send.
When there is only one valid choice, FSRevs skips that choice for you. If only one review flow is available at one location, for example, selecting Send Review Request opens that request setup directly.
A global Review Flow is offered for each physical location where you can send it. A global Custom Form can likewise use an available physical location; Global also appears when your access allows sending without a physical location. A location-specific form stays fixed to its own location.
If Quick Actions has remembered a valid location on this browser, it may open directly on the Flow or Form step. The selected location appears in the summary; select Change to return to the location step.
Reuse Your Last Setup
Section titled “Reuse Your Last Setup”When you have several choices, Quick Actions can show Last flow and location or Last form and location beneath the main action.
Use this shortcut to start another request with the same setup you most recently used on that browser and device. It saves the location and flow or form choice, but it always creates a new request and still gives you a chance to review the recipient and sending method.
The shortcut disappears if the saved choice is no longer enabled or available to you.
The shortcut is device-local, not a history shortcut stored across your account. A new browser or device starts with the normal chooser.
Start with a Customer
Section titled “Start with a Customer”Choose Customers inside Quick Actions to search for a customer, then select Send. You can also open a customer record elsewhere in the portal and select its Send action.
Starting with a customer gives you useful context before you send:
- The customer’s saved name, email, and phone number are filled in.
- The request stays linked to the correct customer record.
- Flows and forms with recent history for that customer are identified.
- The latest matching request can show its status, when it was created, and its location.
- You can open the earlier record when you have access to it.
- A record you are allowed to know about but not open is labeled Details restricted.
If the same customer has already received the selected flow or form, a last-setup shortcut may say Send again. This does not bypass the duplicate warning; it simply starts the next request with the same context.
Customer history is listed with the newest matching activity first. When earlier activity exists, Quick Actions may show the chooser even if there is otherwise only one valid sending context so you can review that history before continuing.
Change Your Choices
Section titled “Change Your Choices”The request setup screen summarizes the selected location and flow or form at the top. Select Change if you opened the wrong setup.
You can also use Find customer or Change customer on the setup screen. If edited contact information no longer appears to belong to the selected customer, FSRevs asks whether to keep the customer link or send using the newly entered details.
If an Action Is Missing
Section titled “If an Action Is Missing”Quick Actions reflects the locations, flows, forms, customer tools, and sending permissions available to you.
If something you expect is missing:
- Confirm the flow or form is enabled.
- Confirm it is available for the intended location.
- Confirm your role can send that type of request from that location.
- Ask an administrator if your assigned access needs to change.
